If you eat-in they serve the chips in a mini replica frying basket (wrong) and there is no vinegar on the table just a wedge of lemon on your plate (wrong). Ketchup is in sachets instead of a sqeezy bottle (wrong). On the positive, the food is tasty and the service is fast. As importantly, the business name has a pun in it which is essential for a chippy: this plaice used to be called The Fat Friar with an image of a monk. As a result I had boycotted it for years as the pun only works if it had been named The Fat Fryer . You need to maintain standards.
