we were looking for a picturesque place and found it! I saw some of the last negative reviews and am a loss as the service we received was great. we sat immediately and a young lady came to delete the table within seconds. I jumped in to search for a special menu and found out that loco moco was her special today. we had taken our drink order immediately, which was very nice, then came our waitress and took our orders. everyone we met here was friendly and attentive. my coworker and I ordered both the loco moco and we were glad we did. a lot of taste and good portions. Please note that it comes with mushrooms in the heavy. this is definitiv on our list when we are next time in the city.
this stone Lil-Spot is really nostalgic. I loved this feeling for home. When I went to everyone, it was super friendly. but let's talk about eating! it was an amazing house cooked meal. they gave you great portions. I have fried the land steak, with their spicy hathbrowns and rührei. it came with a side of toast, pancakes or biscuits and gravy. I chose the keks and the gravitation. my daughter, who is 3 was already super hungry, so I asked if I could put her in the ashes and did her so kindly. she was so happy when her mickey pancake came, along with her chocolate milk and whip cream. that was a hidden gem for me, so glad that I came over. I will come back regularly.
If you want to go back to the good ole days then come to Roberta s . The food reminded me of the 50's style, waitresses so attentive, and atmosphere was like back in the day when life was easy. The owner does the cooking and the plates that went by me to other customers were so good looking. The place, including bathrooms were immaculate and that is something you don't see anymore. Yes! Come and enjoy a day back in time at Roberta's!

For Parking I would suggest behind the restaurant it can be full but during the morning a few spots open up. The place was busy and the servers were doing good with each table. Went to have lunch today and did not like my food! Overcooked roast beef and bad service.I cannot believe it, it was a good place to go to but I well not go back! This is la verne, Great people and small town is never better. What happen to it?Just cannot believe we were sick from the food.Best of luck, if you can make changes before you go out of business. It needs a owner that run the business and lives local.
Lovely little diner with that old-school feel. Great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Can't wait to come back! My grandfather and I used to eat here and just brought my wife for the first time since he passed. Love this spot. Just remember it's cash only so come prepared! They do have an ATM if needed and the fee wasn't crazy.
Really like this place but I think I had a new server today. Never did get my toast, took 17 minutes to get check after finishing my breakfast. It was very busy and I will go back. The food is good and the portions you receive are large. I guess is was my turn. Bring cash. This is a cash resturaunt.
Always a great place to dine in and take out ? My favorite item is hands down the Ortega omelette with the seasoned hash browns ? Also the coffee is fantastic . One more thing, don’t forget to ask for the pico de Gallo as a side ?? tasty ?

we discovered this amazing house style breakfast place about 2 months ago. delicious every time, friendly and faster service. they never let their coffee cup dry. great place, generous portions!
genesis was a wonderful waitress. I had delicious pot roasts and my man had a delicious stir foam. everything is good and it is a step back into the time. we have sat.
