My wife and I ate here for her 40th birthday celebration dinner. We arrived to find the restaurant very quiet (it was late December, almost Christmas). There were a couple of empty tables laid out with Christmas crackers etc so we figured that there may be some atmosphere later. Our table was situated at one corner of the restaurant, next to a radiator which was blasting out heat so we politely asked if we could move the table slightly. This was handled well by the waiting staff and we thought nothing more of it. I didn't know it was Rusack's Hotel when I booked the meal. I thought it was a simple little Italian, so it was with some trepidation that we entered the restaurant. There are times when a high class hotel fails to deliver in their restaurants, but this was not one of these times. The food and the service were exceptional. The ox cheek was talked about for days after and the whole experience was very special. Well done to all concerned. You deserve to be bursting at the seams every night.
First visit to Rocca and I can't wait to go back. The food was superb with the most amazing flavours. The staff were beyond helpful so warm and friendly and took time to explain everything on the menu. The ambience and decor in the restaurant is very relaxing with chilled, laid back music playing in the background......... Just fabulous YOU HAVE TO GO THERE!!
I love this restaurant. We ate there every breakfast and 4 times for dinner when we stayed at the Russacks Hotel in St Andrews Scotland. Excellent food and service. Plan to return the next time we are in St Andrews. The view of the Old Course and West Sands Beach is magical.

We ate here for a special family dinner while visiting St. Andrews, and it was lovely food while looking out over the 18th green at St. Andrews' Old Course. What a perfect evening! Food was amazing and perfectly cooked and served. All waitstaff was friendly and helpful.
a full house but service impeckable as always: great food and a nice wine list to match . Well prepared at every stage great variety with locally sourced seafood and meat.
excellent eating. 65 minutes from the order to the first cure is impossible. the handling of drinks, ie opening of red wine is barbaric action and more show than know-how
very beautiful, but also somewhat formal. not a typical after the golf course, but eating is good and the environment is more classic than other st andrew 's spots.
