R&B has always been a special occasion place for me, so we decided to go for Fathers day. We were seated immediately, in a booth like we like. Music was playing, golf on the TV 's, great ambiance. Everyone was friendly and nice. Only a few downsides ... sad they no longer sell FULL SIZE pizza 's. The wife and I use to go and get a large pizza and enjoy beers ... only individual pizzas now. They changed something with the potato skins, my wife use to love those but say they have changed something and they do not taste the same. We tried the loaded Tator tots, I think they are new on the menu, they were OK , the tots were a little overcooked ...FRIES ARE STILL THE BEST. Service was very slow ....
To make matters worse, one of our party ordered a pulled pork sandwich only to find a shrimp in it by accident! It was quite a gag-inducing surprise and definitely not something you expect in a BBQ pork sandwich. We were lucky he wasn't allergic to shrimp. The manager did offer us a free dessert for the seven of us to share, but that didn't really make up for the experience. With a bill of $275, it just wasn't worth it. As far as we're concerned, this place is off our list now.
The waiter was doing his best, but it was clear they were short-staffed. What happened to you, Paul, Gene, and Alice? Your restaurant used to be great, but now it just feels sad.
As locals we try to like this place. It is a cool venue. However, we have had more times with issues of one type or another than good ones. We've probably been in about 10 times in the p[ast 1.5 years. Probably 3 great visits. They seem to have trouble smoothly processing drink orders, our appetizers were delivered and finished before we got our pitcher, after we flagged down another server. Not the first time. Food has been inconsistent as well, sometimes perfect, sometimes late or incorrect. The place will do alright, as it is a sports watching destination for folks from out of town, but there are better, more consistent dining spots in El Segundo.
We ordered an item from the menu that had been unavailable for the prior three hours and the hostess did not let us know, however, the manager Hannah came to our table and very professionally apologized for the misunderstanding. We appreciated the immediate attention she provided to us and its people like her that offer great customer service! WE WILL BE BACK!! Thanks Hannah! YOU ROCK!!!!

We went there to try out something new in the area. While the food was okay they have my wife boneless wings when she asked for bone-in, we never got a single refill on our drinks, and the server walked by despite us stopping her and asking for a refill to which she replied “okay no problem” but then she just never came back…
I absolutely love the linguine with shrimp—it's delicious! The portion is generous, and I really enjoy the size of the shrimp and the amazing flavors!
The Spicy Asian wings were outstanding. The hostess was friendly, and our waiter was very attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
Never had a bad experience. Food is always good and it a great atmosphere to bring guests from out of town!

Rock Brews is a great Venue. Service can wander based on who you get.
