It's like being teleported back to my youth in the 90s in Madison WI. Rocky's still got it. Although I wonder if the parent company owns the rights to the visage of Jim Pederson (the guy who played Rocky), because it feels like some of the movie posters perhaps post date his death in 2016, but I could be wrong. Either way, a great slice if you're eating it there, but it doesn't really hold up to reheating in my opinion. Rocky Rocco Pizza is an absolute gem! THE BEST! A long-standing favorite since middle school, it never fails to deliver an incredible thick crust pizza. The Sausage Mushroom pizza is a masterpiece that keeps me coming back for more. The harmonious blend of savory sausage and earthy mushrooms on a perfectly baked crust creates a symphony of flavors that is simply irresistible. Can not wait to visit again. I ordered online and got an email with a pizza ready time of 5:35. when I got there, I was told it was still 15 minutes out. Got my pizza at 5:50. Look, the pizza was great, they do a wonderful job. This restaurant has the best flavor, crust, texture, and generous toppings on their pizzas. The sausage is truly unmatched. My favorite protein option is the sausage and pepperoni super slice - I always have to have two pieces! This is the best pizza I have ever had, and I have been to Italy. Delicious pizza, but the place was infested with flies when we went (09/15/23) so much so that we took the order to go, rather than dine in as we originally intended. Gross and unhygienic, not to mention annoying. Time to clean up the kitchen, and get out the fly swatters. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
