Just winding our way back home from NYC on The Taconic and saw this brewery-well the saints must have been looking on because this is a real gem! This place is steeped in history, with its re-purposed beams to a modern, environmentally conscious, shared, bathroom, sinks. Stopped by for the meal after a day in Hudson. We ordered at the counter and got a buzzer to let us know the food was ready. It was not a long wait. We ordered the pretzel with Beer Cheese Orr did not disappoint). Charred greens beans and deep fried Brussel sprouts more oily than I would like) Greek Idle salad with chicken refreshing and tasty). Also ordered onion rings and I was quite happy with them. My other friends ordered the burger and everybody enjoyed their burger. The beers were good and refreshing.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! After a long hike nearby, my husband, our Husky, and I were in need of refreshment. We were thrilled to discover this spot. The Cozy Flannel Brown Ale was fantastic, and the food—Mac n' Cheese bites and a pretzel with beer cheese—was just what we needed. The outdoor deck is dog-friendly, complete with water bowls and sample dog treats, and it even has heaters! Definitely check this place out; you won’t regret it!
I discovered this fantastic brewery after a hike, and it was a delightful surprise. The food was excellent, and the craft beer was so good that we wished we could drink more (fortunately, you can buy some to take home). The atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, was wonderful as well. Even though we live more than an hour away, we're already checking our calendars to plan another visit. I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend checking out Joe Jan Brewing!

This is a really intriguing restaurant with lovely indoor spaces and plenty of covered outdoor areas. Unfortunately, it was a cool, rainy day, so we stayed inside. The drinks, including the cocktails, were great and unique. I tried the pear martini and the Emma sour, and I enjoyed both. We also had the burger and a hot dog, both of which were excellent. Overall, it's a fascinating spot with enjoyable food and drinks!
The food was enjoyable, and the restaurant was clean with a pleasant atmosphere. However, the fries were a bit disappointing; we seemed to get the last remnants, as the waitress mentioned it can happen occasionally. My husband ordered a medium-well burger, but it arrived medium rare. Despite these issues, we had a nice experience overall and would definitely consider returning.
This restaurant is a lively and inviting place with plenty of outdoor seating, which adds to its charm. They offer an impressive selection of fantastic brews. Our group enjoyed delicious burgers, pretzels, and onion rings, while I tried a delicious cauliflower flatbread that was fresh and bursting with flavor! I also appreciated the live music that enhanced the experience!
The building and furnishings are beautiful. However, the food is too expensive for counter service. The owner came over to our table right after we finished eating and asked us if we were done. He told us people were waiting. Food is always excellent. Music is super fun. The staff is great.

Fantastic food at this charming country brew pub! We started off by sharing an order of nachos, and they were hands down the best I've had in ages. The hot dog, bratwurst, homemade onion rings, and French fries were all top-notch. The beer was exceptional as well!
