We decided to try some local Philly pizza while we were passing thru and found Romano's not too far from our hotel. We called and ordered as they do not deliver and picked up our pizza and salads then took them back to the hotel. Our sons small cheese pizza looked good and he ate it before we could take a picture so that says it was good. My wife and I got the Romano's Supreme pizza and I must say it is stacked with toppings and is nearly perfect. My only gripe is I do not like canned mushrooms and it had a lot of them on it. So much so that I believe they were the culprit of the somewhat soggy crust. My wife did not eat her salad but when I dug into mine I was very disappointed to see brown...

Was trying to find an Italian restaurant open on a Monday, so glad we wound up at Romano's. This place has clearly been a neighborhood institution for 75+ years for good reason. Wide variety of pasta, pizza, and of course originators of the stromboli. That alone is all the reason you need to come here. BUT, I think their tomato pie is a real star as well. A pretty thin square crust (not as thin as the Trenton tomato pies) with cheese on top, and then covered in a delicious tomato sauce (it has a little zing to it). My daughter had an excellent meatball stromboli, and I got a cheesesteak stromboli. Ambiance was great: clean, no frills spot, like going to grandma's for Sunday dinner. Staff was...

Ordered a meatball sandwich...eh it was ok . Read the reviews so I gave it a shot . The meatballs were a nice size but not enough flavor . I like meatballs to taste like they were cooking in gravy all day . Hints of garlic and basil ..in a hearty tomato gravy or sauce . My girlfriend's Mom was straight from Sicily ..she always called it gravy . Anyway...there wasn't enough of it regardless and the roll was soggy . The provolone cheese saved it so to speak and while I had to rebuild it n reheat it ..I ate half and made a mental note to put spaghetti and meatballs on my shopping list . I know they're famous for stromboli I'll give that some thought . Maybe someday I'll.open up my own restauran...

I ordered the Meatball Provolone Grinder with onion rings on the side, my fiancée ordered the Shrimp Alfredo with salad. The salad was fresh, the onion smiles hot from the frit. My grinder was perfect the sauce and provolone shed it and you can say the sauce is homemade of taste and appearance. Also the shrimp Alfredo was delicious. I was here a few years ago and if I were in the area, I would recommend Romanos. The portions are generous and the people are very friendly the young lady who waited for us (Harleigh) was very attentive and ensured that our drinks were full and we were satisfied with our meal. Total great experience! Reserva una mesa ahora

The pizza was very good, it was vegetarian. They gave you a lot of great soda and good lemonade. But my salad had salad that had become brown and was not so good, and that was at noon. And my main course was just fine. The garlic bread was delicious. All in all, it was nice service, but I wouldn't order a salad there with the pizza or a sandwich. And maybe they're garlic bread. The service was appropriate. My spaghetti and meatballs only regularly nothing spectacular. But they had a good pizza.

A legendary spot! Where else can you get the original first ever Stromboli? No where else, that?s where. Melissa was very kind. The place has a homey, checkered table cloth kind of vibe. Would definitely recommend.

Best unique pizza. You put Stromboli on the map. Apparently Clinton make special trips to get one. Even more you thank me for my contribution. This is great!!!! I'm talking about that.

Big Stromboli! I drove past the restaurant in the last six months and decided to stop yesterday. The bread was shameful and not like in other places. The sauce was great too! Reserva una mesa ahora
