To me, my wife and our immediate family, and even some of our friends, Rosalynn's restaurant is the very best place for a romantic dinner or party dinner. I read some reviews that service may be slow, and yes, it's definetly not the fastest, but for the mood setting and the great food, I'm willing to wait, chat, drink (Beau's, CasselBrew and affordable wines in between services. We had a birthday party of 14 and all got served at the same time, with everybody enjoying their meal. This is a family owned restaurant, very cozy with confort food at it's best. Not to mention, very affordable. Their pasta dish are succulent and I like that you can always find some different special Table d'Hôte fr...
I am so thrilled to have discovered this delightful restaurant. Tonight will be my 5th time, but absolutely no doubt there will be many, many more meals here. Their fish stew is simply amazing, and the fish and chips are the best. Can't wait for the roast beef tonight! I've noticed some comments concerning the slow service. I guess it's impossible to please everyone, but when I eat out, I hate being rushed! This is a time for good conversation and appreciation of a well prepared meal. Thank you Rosalynn's for the graciousness of allowing me the time for the pleasure of both.
RosaLynn's is the sole restaurant in Rockland that offers high-quality food at prices that reflect its quality. You can rest assured that everything is freshly prepared, unlike many chain restaurants. This year, we opted to have our Christmas meal catered by RosaLynn's, and as always, we were not let down. I am grateful to have RosaLynn's so close by, as we no longer have to travel into the city for an outstanding meal. Keep up the great work. I appreciate the table d'hôte option for a unique dining experience and variety of dishes. Thank you.
We stumbled upon this family restaurant and decided to give it a try. We began with a refreshing Baues Beer and indulged in the Lobster Ravioli, which was fantastic. My husband ordered the Fish and Chips with homemade coleslaw and thoroughly enjoyed it. I opted for the Seafood Linguini, which surpassed any other restaurant on Preston St. The owners were incredibly kind and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert, the best Creme Brulee I've ever had. We will definitely be returning to sample more items from the menu.
Rosalyn's Bistro is a delightful find, not a typical fast food chain. The homemade food is delicious and I enjoy a fantastic breakfast every Thursday with my group. I appreciate that the quality is always consistent. The house-made desserts are outstanding. It's refreshing to dine at a restaurant that makes their own desserts. The lunch specials are exceptional as well. I am eagerly looking forward to trying their dinner menu next.
Stopped in for lunch with a friend who lives in the area. He knows I live food and knew I would like this place. He was right! Not only is the food fantastic, it has service to match. The food served makes it evident that the people in the kitchen are passionate about what they do. I'm already planning my next visit!
