What a lovely pub!! Set in a fantastic location right next to the wonderful Perry Woods, this charming pub has the nicest beer garden I have even been in. There was also a different selection of beers than the usual ones you see in most pubs, I enjoyed a couple of pints of Bitburger and the service was very welcoming. The kids will love exploring the garden and watching the chickens that are kept there. Although we didn't try the food on this visit, I hope to return sometime soon and I will update the review then.
Thank you to the Rose and Crown for catering for those 20 off-road cyclists at the weekend. Not only did they provide us with some delicious sandwiches, they found a 'snug ' to squeeze as all into. Such a lovely pub. I went there today with a friend and our children for lunch and it was so friendly. Great food, great service, great prices and a beautiful garden with very, very, very well looked after chickens. Will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!
