I had the most fantastic meal here yesterday, September 6, 2017, as my friend treated me for my 60th birthday. We both chose the tasting menu, and all I can say is wow, wow! The presentation and the aromas made it an unforgettable experience! Each dish provided layers of flavor that delighted the senses—each bite revealed a new taste, one after the other. It was truly amazing! The service was attentive and timely, striking the perfect balance between being prompt and not feeling rushed. I could rave about this place all afternoon. Thank you so much for the delicious meal and the lovely little 'happy birthday' touch! It was a wonderful experience!

We dined from the à la carte menu and had the special opportunity to enjoy pork head terrine with poached pear as a starter. For our main courses, we had rabbit and turbot, followed by a delightful chocolate marquise with cherry sorbet for dessert. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We were also treated to homemade bread with thyme and garlic butter, along with a complimentary smoked cod with pineapple. The staff were charming and attentive. We also loved the lounge bar menu, which features crispy burgers, macaroni and cheese, and generous sandwiches. Plus, there's a lovely garden in the back.

Had a few friends round here for an evening meal to celebrate my 60th birthday. I knew it would be exactly what I wanted and I wasn't disappointed. My guests had never been here before, and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the smiley service. We all enjoyed the traditional pub atmosphere, and it is within a short walk from home, so perfect! Thank you for helping to make my special day a lovely one.

We dined there on a Friday night, and although it wasn't our first visit, I felt it was time to share how great this place is. I'm quite particular about my steak, but this restaurant consistently delivers. While it may not be the cheapest steak in the city, it is absolutely worth the price. was very friendly worker, the service she gave was excellent. eating well if I lived closer, I would definitely be here more often dine.i had salt and pfeffer squid the best I ever had. my man went freshly handmade bread for the breadboard. then we had the steak and 3 times boiled chips, the steak was juice and delicate the chips were crispy, but soft inside. excellent meal I would definitely give 3stars

We ate lunch there yesterday (bank holiday Monday) for the first time and it was very good indeed, very welcoming to us and our daughter which was nice. Great gin menu too. Well worth a try. We'll be back again soon. Reasonably priced too.

Have had two fantastic Sunday lunches here! Even though we live in Henfield are surrounded by nice pubs, we will still make the journey for the great food, wine customer service! Keep it up guys we'll be back!
