rosedale is perhaps about 2 hours away from melbourne and a perfect place to stop lunch. they had a very efficient social distancing plan with entering a door and exit over another and an assigned x on the floor. the whole place smells clean too. after the kiefer surgery I still recovered, so I could not say no to a massive kartoffel top minze cake, while kd ordered a bangy chicken cake and a super hot long black. perfect road trip. we sat outside in the sun and had to leave our details according to the requirements of the government in victoria.
I have been to the Rosedale bakery a couple of times now and the pies and slices are fantastic but sadly the customer service definitely ruins my trip every time.. I work at a service station in Traralgon and get asked quite often "where's good to stop for lunch around here" and I send them through to Rosedale as their food is so good but sadly due to my last trip I'm not going to send customers there anymore as I don't want them to receive the terrible service that I have gotten on every occasion.
this bakery has something for everyone. in the main street is the place to come for this cake, salad roll, sweet tasty and much more. they can dip or take away. there is an interesting series of wood carvings to see. to eat: cakes are fabulous, but the roast beef roll was great. the personal is extremely helpful and is happy. chair friendly. kid friendly. good parking front.

I have lived my whole life in rosedale, the bakery began great, but my opinion went down the bakery hills. now the rosedale bakery is new.
Lovely place to stop , good service, reasonable prices, good Sanga,s and coffee, I'd stop there again
