The staff was friendly, but the coffee was disappointing. I ordered an iced Americano, and it tasted burnt. Additionally, the coffee menu was quite limited, and there should definitely be a sign displaying the prices. It was also uncomfortably hot inside, as there was no air conditioning.
Based on only their chocolate cake slice...10/10!! The other cake was amazing too and I wish I remember what the names of the cakes were!The chocolate was rich, but not overpowering and the almond was light and fluffy. We will absolutely be back to try other goodies and their coffee!

The coffee and desserts here are absolutely delightful! I had the Armenian coffee, a donut, and a few macarons, and everything was incredibly tasty, fresh, and made with high-quality ingredients.
The restaurant lacked a clear identity and felt quite empty. The coffee was just average, and while the almond pastry was decent, it had a peculiar quality. Overall, it was an odd little spot.
We had coffee, Persian tea and pastries and it was divine. Will go back next time I visit Descanso Gardens. It's a happy little corner of the world and I'm here for it.
There were some really good finds here. I liked the opera cake; it was very moist. I loved the rose and blueberry lavender macaroons!

Expensive and not very flavorful pastries. Tea is ok. My coconut pastrie was frozen in the center.
Good carrot cake and fruit tarts, it's convenient if you live or visit a friend in la Cañada.
