... in the cozy red ochse. after reservation, which is absolutely necessary, we came to a full restaurant. the noise level was enormous. the fleeting and very friendly service has everything firmly in the handle. short waiting time until ordering and also totally acceptable time to serve the drinks and feed. eating including salat, was very good. the price-performance ratio is also in order. only the coffee to finish had plenty of potential up, therefore a point to go. all in all highly recommended. we also like to come back here.

A block or two past the marketplace, and much less touristy. Legit place, and menu is simple but excellent classic German food. I've read some reviews not digging this place, but I'd say you don't understand common seating places. Yes the service is a bit brisk, but its culturally spot on. Food is good, price is very fair, and you'll enjoy it. Dark old woods and hunting lodge feel. Go with confidence. EAT. ENJOY. REPEAT.

we would have been so happy to feed with you, however you come out with this email address in the local "to red ochsen" in the haupstrasse in the old town. so we were in the wrong local and had to drive on to God's. the food there didn't taste us at all.

every Tuesday of the slaughter: ua. fresh leber and bloodworst, well meat, sourded, bratkartoffeln and salat around 6.50... absolutely recommended (meat-loaded) rustic restaurant with attentive and friendly staff as well as delicious cuisine

Really good genuine German food here with great atmosphere especially with great piano player. Schnitzel with chips excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful and overall very pleasant meal
