Royal India - Reservar una mesa

We ordered from the English language version of the menu and straight away there were problems with our order as the English language version was apparently different from the German language version. The food we were served was different from what we had ordered. We didn't complain but instead just made the best of it and ate what we were served. The staff then tried to serve us an additional side order that we had not ordered and seemed to blame us when we refused it. At that point we told them we had not ordered the dishes served to us. They did not apologise but blamed the menus. Some of the staff were nice but one older staff member was very unpleasant and rolled her eyes at us. The food was expensive and only mediocre. One of the salads was served with a fruit fly crawling all over it. I would not recommend this restaurant and we won't be going back.

This warm and inviting little Indian restaurant is affordable and serves delicious food and tasty beer. A meal for 2 came to 40 Euro which included, 2 dishes (Chilli Chicken Chicken Jalfrezi), 2 rice and Peshawari nan (which was the unleavened kind and kinder to the stomach), as well as 4 beers! It’s in a central location, open from 5:30pm, staff are so kind and helpful and I would definitely return to this place again. This restaurant is definitely value for money and a good fun atmosphere, I highly recommend this place for a visit.

I'd heard that it was impossible to get a decent curry in Germany but we were very pleasently surprised! The food was delicious perfectly cooked and full of wonderful tastes and flavours. The service was a bit hit and miss, but the quality of the food more than made up for it. And it wasn't expensive, either meal for two (including quite a lot of beer! came to Eur55. Bargain!
