This is a lovely bar and just reeks with history. It has a central location right smack in the middle of 2 shopping precincts. Have witnessed a staff changeover with a strong team now settled. An enormous Eastern European crowd predominates, but this is intermittently challenged by a strong thread of Harrow locals and is especially fun on match days. Here, the North/South divide is chewed over and felt when league teams on either side play at the nearby Wembley Stadium. Then, this space becomes really interesting and fun. Didn’t allow my wife to come in, at 7pm, because they “thought” my wife was under 25. Even if she was (and she is not) one of the female staff members (with glasses and lip piercing) started coming out with rubbish that it’s the law to have ID to get in if you look under 25. Despite families with kids being in the pub at the time. Suggests there’s more to it. It wasn’t worth explaining the actual law to somebody that then seemed proud she said no to two customers including an NHS staff member. I recommend your staff member gets some retraining before she grandstands again. Booked at table for 7 (including 2 highchairs) for Sunday lunch using the online booking form and when we got there, the barmaid abruptly went 'we don 't have highchairs ' so when we explained that we had actually booked it and been the given the option to book highchairs so she shrugged at us and walked off. Disgusting attitude, no apology, no highchairs, despite online saying that they do... Will not return down to this stroppy barmaid souring our entire experience.
I came to have dinner with my family and I can honestly say I have never been so disrespected in a location.The staff were racially abusive, made false accusations and unprofessional. I had asked my nephew to order a drink for my husband as I am heavily pregnant and found it difficult to keep walking up.The staff refused to serve my nephew due to his appearance and smirked and laughed behind the bar.I have never felt so disrespected. I would not recommend this place.

I celebrated my birthday here and everything was upto the mark right from food to ambience to the light music to the crowd and last but not the least the kind staff and their superb service. The drinks are reasonably priced. The food platter veg and non veg had a variety and all my friends enjoyed it. The Christmas decorations were amazing and we got some lovely pics.. I would highly rate this place and would definitely recommend it. Pics attached for reference only.
A lovely surprise, located within St George's shopping centre. A huge airy, but traditional building offering a fine selection of bot keg and cask. Food looks generous and appealing. The staff are jolly and attentive. The locals are delightful and talkative. I enjoyed a most delightful visit and recommend you do to!
Lovely customer service, decent prices and good pub food. There is a lot of outdoor and indoor seating available and you can choose to order from your phone or go to the bar. It's ideal for a quick bite since it's situated near the shops!
Great food to be had at the Royal Oak in Harrow on the Hill. I had half a chicken with chips. The food and the Texan sauce were delicious. Would come definitely come back. Great food available here

The Staff were very friendly attentive and seemed genuine, we had some good pub style food, Nachos and a Burger and chips, all food was served hot and delicious. Thanks Royal Oak
