Spending time in Orillia while on business could be an interesting proposition if you are not one to have early dinners. Most of the restaurants are closed after a certain hour.After touring the area near the Cuchiching Beach for open air and a nice view of the lake, the idea of having dinner came to my mind. I have heard of this restaurant before. It is a bit of going back in time. I used to live on Chinese food way back at my university years in Toronto. This place is just like that, kitchy decor, plastic flowers and the Chinese theme is all around. The servers are cordial and efficient, not Chinese. I had take out, since being alone at a restaurant could be a depressing proposition for me...

Visiting family and got a large take out order of a variety of things for adults and small children. The options were great and they let us make a few substitutions with no issues. Food was ready quick, and was nice and hot even once we got it back home. The food was really great. One of the best take our curry dishes I've ever had. Not cheap, but didn't break the bank either and everyone was happy.

The food is delicious, and bringing it home to enjoy is a real treat. Highly recommend it and we have narrowed down our choices to a Favourite Menu, it is always outstanding when we get it. For a retro experience, you can dine in but we prefer to bring it home and just savour the flavours.

My husband introduced me to this restaurant and I love it! We always order the Chinese food although I know they offer more choices. Food is very good and the serving sizes are nice. Their servers are friendly. This is a popular place with a lot of regulars. Reserva una mesa ahora

This establishment has the best chinese food I've ever had. The experience is made even better by all their super friendly and efficient servers. I wish I could remember all their names, but they are all excellent at their jobs. Prices are very affordable.

Good Chinese food, good, friendly service eat in or take out. The restaurant is older but is clean and friendly local atmosphere. Never had a bad meal here. Reasonably priced food.

We chose the plate 2 and plate 5 and shared the two takeout meals. The food was hot and more than we could consume. The fried shrimp were dry but other than that not bad.

We have made the royal oak a staple in our house! Whenever we get Chinese it's the place we hit up. So great!! Always friendly staff too which is a huge bonus Reserva una mesa ahora
