Viet Thai Restaurant

Went here since it's right next to the Champlain Waterfront Hotel where we stayed. It's run down looking inside and the servers aren't attentive at all. Asked our waitress what the difference was between their 3 curry dishes she had no idea what to say. She just said one is spicier than the other and the third option was the same!? Made no sense. When our order arrived, we realised they probably use premade sauces for their dishes so they have no idea what ingredients are in them. The only veggies in all their dishes are carrots and broccoli! No authentic Asian veg like green onions, bean sprouts, or mushrooms! Tasted nice but they need help with service and updating the restaurant.

We love this great restaurant in downtown Orillia. The pho is rich, satisfying and always piping hot, served with fresh garnishes and plenty of condiments. The made in house spring rolls are our favorite and are really what keep us coming back. The atmosphere is cozy and clean and the service is good. We also love the other noodle dishes and the Tom yum soup is spicy and very good. Vietnamese coffee, regular or iced is great!

always really good, the owners are fantastic, friendly and professional. there is no secret how good this place is, there is only one or two tables empty. large vegan options, let them just know and they will change every veggie dish. it is also super fast when they are in a hurry or super hungry and inbulant they can vaporize a piping hot bowl of rich pho their face in about two minutes. highly recommended!

I ordered for take out and had it delivered by a third party. The food was fantastic seemed authentic, compared to larger city fare. If you are sitting at home and want some great food call them up you won't be disappointed, it was worth the couple of extra bux to enjoy at home; cooling with a movie.

very tasty eating, friendly service. for dinner on a blistering okt evening had the chicken, garnelen veg stir fritted rice along w/ a large bowl of the miraculous suppe and crispy spring rolls to begin. perfect for exchange and lots of remains for a doggy bag. we're coming back!

Picked up a take out from here, and I must say it was taste less, also meant to be chicken based and no sign of any chicken at all, very disappointed as read reviews on here before we decided on this place, we wouldn't bother again.

great spring rolls! they only have spicy padthai on the menu, but if they ask for not spicy, they will do it. large portions! love goes here when I am in the city! highly recommended!

We came for lunch. I am sure, I the service was meant to be friendly but felt a bit abrupt. The place may not feel that great, but the food was really good and worth dropping in for.

great dinner here! we loved the fresh rolls, pho and pineapple, fried rice. the photo after we have eaten some of the delicious fresh rolls. perfect place for lunch or dinner.
