our entire impression is that there is a better Indian restaurant in the city mango grove just two miles away. royal taj is not bad and we would eat here if there were no other options. mango grove has an overwhelming vegan menu in comparison to only five options at royal taj. Our only experience at royal taj included a significant wait about 40 minutes for a ToGo order. their phone lines were down so we couldn't call further. her internet was down so they couldn't handle credit cards normally. eating was actually quite good, but the portion sizes were disappointing as their disappointing several dollars run out more than the typical mango grove. the atmosphere was also loud and busy with ma...
we visited my son and this is his favorite restaurant. I can see why! the place is immaculate and the service they receive is amazing. I've always had a little bit of fear for Indians, but the royal taj has changed me. that eating was fantastic! all ask that we had, the server was more than happy to answer them. he was careful to ask and explain how sharp we like a dish. we went with medium heat and it was perfect. we did not have space for dessert, but the server insisted that we have a glass of dessert wine on the house! sensual eating and service! kick and go here if they have the chance!
we love this place absolutely. simply the best Indian food they ever have anywhere. period. we had Indian friends who confirm that eating in taj is better than their mother. also the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, and the owner is the most beautiful man they will ever meet. we went there for an hour every week until we moved. we'll stop every moment when we're in the opposite. great food. absolutely beautiful place. perfect 10 service. You have to go. you're not going to regret it.

Indulge in a Taj Mahal beer, sample all the delicious dishes, and engage in friendly conversation with the staff or even the owner, who is often seen mingling with customers.
The owner and staff of this restaurant are dedicated to providing excellent service and are very friendly. We had a fantastic time dining here. The atmosphere is really clean and elegant, making it a perfect place to dine with friends and family. The prices are reasonable and there are plenty of drink options to choose from. The Royal Taj is the finest Indian Cuisine I have ever had. The food is delicious and prepared and delivered with care. The atmosphere is both peaceful and immersive. Most importantly, this is among the best service you can get in the DMV area constant, attentive and polite. This restaurant is a real attraction for the area.
The restaurant has a very extensive vegan menu. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. The Indian cuisine is authentic. The owner is a wonderful man who remembers all his customers and treats them like royalty or part of a special club. I cannot praise this restaurant enough.
