I've booked a reservation for 6 people. Hours later realising that 2 of them cant show up. So we once the 2 people told me they couldn't go, I was outside of the restaurant. I went in and told them if Ii could ask if I could change my reservation for 4 people instead (I wasn't in any rush so its ok) but the manager scream at our faces saying "WELL IF YOU DONT COME THAT MANY PEOPLE, YOU SHOULD CALL OR ELSE YOU DISTURBE MY BUSINESS. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL THIS EARLIER". I was shocked and I didn't feel like eating there anymore, but instead we stayed. When we got to the table, she distributed the plates, tea cups ect. She did it very loudly as if she was just tossing the plates like she doesn't car...

I stopped by this place the other night after hearing good reviews from friends of mine. We wanted to take dinner home and enjoy it there so we stopped by to place a take out order. The outside of the restaurant is definitely not impressive however the interior is clean, I'm o.k. with that. We ordered a few items and advised the staff that it would be for take out. We were invited to have a seat and offered tea while we waited. The staff was very courteous and the service was very fast as well. I have nothing but praise for the staff as well as the service, excellent. We got home and eagerly tried the various dishes that we had ordered. They were o.k., that's it. This is a favorite restaurant that we make sure to visit every time we go to Ottawa. At first glance from outside it looks like a hole in the wall and doesn'tlook like much, but the food is so good!The food is always delicious and the servings are large. Service is quick and may seem abrupt but it is efficient and taking a few minutes to chat with the staff will make your experience even more enjoyable.Hot and sour soup is one of the best in the area. We love the dumplings with the peanut sauce. To be honest we have never had a dish we didn't like! This is a regular place for us to eat and service is wonderful. They make us feel welcome every time we visit.

Crispy duck was nice But all sauce and we had 3 items tasted bland, like baby food my wife commented The very nice wormed how helped us to pick things from the very large menu ask if we Like spice ? Yes we do love authentic spice She suggested the dry rub shrimp We had send them back , what my wife only had done 2x in the 20 years I know her Deep fried with lots of butter tastes Nothing and nothing more .Very dissatisfaction Reserva una mesa ahora

Restaurant was very busy on a Friday evening. There are really not that much space inside so when the restaurant is packed, it seemed really crowded. I ordered take-out and was happy not having to stay at the place for very long where there were no windows. Two separate chicken dishes me and my friend ordered turned out both to be red. Interesting color and the food was okay. Prices are at the high end for Chinese food.

By far the best cantonese food in ottawa, no one makes these dishes better, vermicelli singapore style, deep fried shrimp and cream dip, imperial spare ribs, beef and black bean fried noodle, any eggplant dish, stinky salted fish fried rice. plus the prices are very inexpensive and the quantity is huge!!!!

RT has been a favourite of our family and friends for years. We rarely go to another Chinese restaurant as this is our go-to for Chines food. This is a family owned restaurant and all servers work under the keen eye of Mama who makes sure everything runs smoothly. Food is fabulous and never disappoints.

Fantastic food!! No additional comment required as they are the best. They do not need a fancy restaurant to serve the best food. Enjoy!

I strongly recommend this restaurant. I have been there three times and tried different dishes every time. Always very satisfied.
