I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally had the chance to pick up some dinner from them after seeing their post on Instagram. My husband and I ordered the Vegan Fried Chicken, greens, green beans, garlic bread, cornbread, vegan mac and cheese, and gravy. The food was absolutely delicious, so much so that even my toddler enjoyed it! For dessert, we tried the Cookie Butter Brownie and Lemon Blueberry Cake, both of which were amazing. The cozy space offers counter service for takeout, with a tempting display of sweets like brownies, candied apples, and cinnamon rolls. They also offer a selection of beverages and takeout entrees. I stopped in their new location for the Martin Luther King jr. day special: Smothered not chicken plate. It absolutely blew my mind. I wished I had ordered two so I could have taken another one with me. The mashed potatoes and corn sides were so savory and flavorful they must have put some magic in them.
