I've ordered from Rubio's Coastal Grill three times, and each time I've been disappointed with the lack of guacamole or avocado, despite being charged for it on the last two occasions. The staff is really friendly, but tonight I even called ahead to confirm my order, and still, I faced the same issue! I only found out they had run out of guacamole because I overheard an employee telling another customer. I had to specifically ask if my order would include guacamole! If they had been upfront about their stock situation, I would have chosen Chipotle instead. It's hard to understand how Chipotle can manage their inventory even on busy days while Rubio's struggles with this, especially when they...

Three times ordered and three times no guacamole or avocado. . But I was charged for it the previous 2 times. Staff is very nice, but I even called tonight before I placed my order and again same thing! They were not going to even tell me if I had notheard an employees say they ran out to a customer in line. I had to ask if my food had guacamole!! I would have gone toChipotle if they had been honest and said they were almost out or had run out. How can chipotle, even on their busiest days, not run out, but Rubios can not figure out how not to run out of product hours before they close? Multiple times?????

Came in during lunch time around 12ish Thursday during a rush and left uneasy with my experience. Witnessed very unprofessional elder lady in the kitchen curse in Spanish aloud and belittling another guy cook clearly heard by many for not knowing how toprepare an order. Seemed like it was loud on purpose for the amusement of others. Manager didn?t seem to care and instead sheparticipated in degrading the guy. Honestly wouldn?t doubt they verbally abuse their staff thinking it?s funny. I hope someonein a higher position talks to their employees and takes action.

I visited Rubio's Coastal Grill around noon on Thursday and left feeling unsettled by my experience. I witnessed an older woman in the kitchen using inappropriate language in Spanish and belittling a fellow cook who was struggling with an order. It felt like she was being loud for the entertainment of others. The manager appeared indifferent and even joined in on the ridicule. I wouldn't be surprised if the staff faced ongoing verbal abuse that they think is humorous. I hope someone in a higher position addresses this issue with the employees and takes action. For nearly $12, I expected a burrito with more ingredients. It wasn't rolled up well either, and only a few bites contained a small amount of the beer-battered fish; most of it was just coleslaw and black beans. I also didn't see any guacamole. I know it's fast food, and I’ve had better experiences with the blackened mahi mahi option in the past. However, this time the fish was dry, and the tortilla had that off taste of being in the refrigerator a bit too long. They did have a sign indicating they were short-staffed, which might explain the issues.

For almost 12 bucks I felt I could have had some more ingredients in the burrito. And not rolled up properly. Only a couple of bites had a tiny amount of beer-battered fish. It was mostly coleslaw and black beans. Also, I didn't see any guacamole either.Granted, it's fast food, I understand, and I've had better luck with the blackened mahi mahi option. This time, however, thefish was dried up and the tortilla tasted like it was in the refrigerator a little too long. They did have a sign saying theywere short staffed, so maybe that explains why.

I was taken aback by the decline in food quality at Rubio's. We ordered chicken tacos but received a tortilla filled with just five tiny pieces of chicken. After being loyal customers for more than ten years, I think it's time to give Baja Fresh a try. Save your money and avoid this location!

I always look forward to eating here whenever I'm in the area. The atmosphere is so peaceful, the service is excellent, and especially the food—the two taco plate is my favorite... I absolutely love it! Mmmm! Reserva una mesa ahora

Shrimp tacos and the endless topping options.. Yum.. Avoid the fish tacos as they just oil and batter instead of a fish.. The service is good.
