I was so impressed with their efficiency with my take out order for 11 people. I called another bbq place in town and since it was a holiday weekend they told me to get there early and hope they have what I want. With Rudy’s it was completely different. I was able to order everything online. At the time of pick up everything was ready and neatly packaged. They even brought it out to my vehicle. The food was also very good. Their peach cobbler is to die for. I was very pleased with this experience and I will continue to order for my parties and events..
Don’t know what it is but something is different. prices have gone up. I get it. The quality seems to have dropped off. sausage for $8 and was not hot moist brisket has a lot of bark compared to meat. Seemed like the ratio was off was not offered bread after paying. Had to ask for bread. worst offense. The cream corn was the worst I’ve had ever from any rudy. Corn felt under cooked and the cream was not smooth or creamy. Kinda like old milk.Bought 1 pint and 1 quart. What a disappoint for out of town guests pumping them up on “this is the best”.
Love Rudy's! It's tragic there is only one in Colorado and zero in Denver! The brisket was amazing as always. The potato salad is creamy without an overpowering taste. The banana pudding is my favorite dessert there. It's a great place to meet up with old friends.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. You eat on butcher paper!Parking: Plenty available.
I would have given this nasty cold food a zero star with this unfriendly staff that behaved like they didn’t want to serve us. Our party of seven. Nathan is not good working with the public. He’s in training with that bad attitude. Pappa’s food is much better and the staff welcomes you. I will never come here again my kids had to witness this.
