On MLK day, We ended up here when our first brunch spot was not open. The place is a funky mix of old school and hip art modern. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Our family of 5 snuggled up in a booth inside. We ordered from the extensive but accessible menu that had standard diner, vegan, and old school options like meatloaf. We chose breakfast, which was delicious. I highly recommend one of the option from the Dueces wild: I had 2 french toast, eggs and sausage. Some people haven't forgotten the comfy informal hangouts of the late 60s! We've been in mourning for the Homemade Cafe, but this place is balm for our pain. The service was good. Everyone was nice. However, the eggs were cold and the french toast was undercooked/ still soaked in the batter. I ordered bacon specifically extra cripsy and it was somehow more soft than anyone else's. For a $20 breakfast you would hope for a bit better.
First time here. Friendly staff, great food, nice atmosphere. Dine inside or out door seating. Definitely a weekend breakfast spot! Great for any size group, kids, and dogs! I read the also have live bands on certain days! We will be coming back!

I really enjoy this restaurant, but some of the side items are a bit overpriced. For example, a small portion of syrup costs 3 dollars, extra cheese is 3 dollars, and fruit topping is also 3 dollars. The costs can start to add up quickly.

Delicious meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The beer bacon gravy is awesome. Ive ordered from here at least a dozen times and everything is always excellent.

Rudy's has had the best french fries anywhere for a long time. My kids are crazy about them. Good milkshake too.
