Rumble Tums is located on Frog Lane, near the Boston House Health Centre in Wigan. They are open Monday to Saturday and offer both takeaway and dine-in options. The restaurant offers very good quality food at very reasonable prices, and the staff is very nice and welcoming. This hidden gem consistently maintains high standards in food quality and customer service, which is reflected in its Five-star rating from the local council inspectors. Definitely worth a visit. - Ed
I eat here regularly and on a recent visit the food hygiene inspector was in. While eating my food she awarded a 5-star hygiene rating and even had her dinner while she was there!! It's no wonder. The place is immaculately clean and the food is always the same consistently high quality and the friendly girls who serve always have time for a natter and a laugh with you while preparing your food. Keep it up!
I stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a spicy chicken burger and it was fantastic. The burger was not greasy, with a crispy coating around pure chicken, served on a fresh soft bun with crispy lettuce and mayo. The man next to me was enjoying a full English breakfast and he mentioned that the food is always delicious. I will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.
Love this place. I normally come for breakfast but lately I've been getting lunches as well. Can't believe I've never really done it before as they're fabulous. I particularly love their chilli. It's done how chilli should be, with a bit of a kick. They've also been doing my lunch every Friday after I've had my breakfast there. Sandwiches are fabulous too. Great food, great service. I absolutely adore this restaurant. Every time I am working in Wigan, I make sure to come here for dinner. Their ham and cheese toasties are the best I have ever had. The food is delicious and affordable. I am very particular about where I dine, but this place is spotless and well-maintained.
Every time I come here the bacon is raw like she put in the microwave, egg underdone what a waste of money I’ll never return after today un edible! She shouldn’t own a cafe if she can’t cook something easy like bacon?
Fantastic place! The food is of the highest quality at brilliant prices. All cooked fresh in front of you. Very clean establishment with customer service at its best. I highly recommend everyone to visit Rumble Tums.
