The positive is that the food is good. But the negative is the service time and the attitude of the staff. We were seated and had our order taken after 20 minutes. A little slow but it was a busy Saturday evening so understandable. Starters came promptly and were eaten. We then got ignored by every passing member of staff for at least 50 minutes. Quite the skill! Once there was a break in our conversation and I realised how long it had been, I stood up to intercept a waitress and asked “are our mains on the way, please?” Our ticket was checked by her at the kitchen hatch and we were told “yes”. Visited on a Saturday evening having booked in advance and when we arrived it looked like a full house. The table was all ready when we arrived and our drinks order taken. We were given just the right time to order our food. We ordered to sharing plates to start with which arrived apart and we had to chase the second dish. Over an hour after ordering, our main course arrived after we asked where it was. We all agreed the food was delicious. The meal including drinks worked out to be £40 a head (we didn’t have a deserts which included two bottles of wine (one was reduced as they had run out of the least expensive Rose . Awful service. Must have said we wanted two pizzas to the waiter about three times but only one arrived. The service was really slow and the average age of the staff was about 17. They clearly didn’t want to be there and couldn’t have cared less. Really sad because it used to be great and welcoming. Food was ok but nothing to write home about. And horribly expensive for the quality. Won’t be going back. Style over substance.

In there yesterday. Its all show and no go! Everything that came out of that kitchen was tasteless..TASTELESS. another 100 pound wasted. Get the same at weatherspoons fraction of cost. Or go to supermarket and do it urself! They didnt do anything to v food, showed it some heat and put it nicely on v plate thats it!!! THEY DONT TASTE THEIR FOOD ITS LAZY THAT WILL DO COOKING. This place used to be great for pizza now at £12 a pop for a basic cheese and tomato margarita there is the minutes amount of topping on there and the coffee is awful not creamy or frothy just basic coffee with a bit of milk on top. They seem to have a problem as they. are looking for a new chef etc. even so why as the public do we have to suffer.

Very poor value, I had vegan burger and chips; a small lonely burger in a bun with a handful of skinny fries and what constituted a salad was a small pile of rocket with a lazy squirt of balsamic glaze- chef, this does NOT constitute a dressing!! At £17.50 this was very disappointing, complaisant food, I wish I had gone down the chippy..

We ate here a couple of nights during our stay and we loved the ambience and the food. The menu is varied and the wine list is great. The service was exceptional Sebastian does a great job as front of house he doesn’t miss a thing! And we also had great table service from Daisy Isla. Best recommendation: the Fowey mussels.

A bit disappointed this evening Pizza was dry and flavourless almost like it was a bought in base. Not enough tomato sauce and really bland, had to add chilli oil to give it a bit of something! We live locally and usually love Rumour but we won't be rushing back unfortunately Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food, really good selection and high quality. Staff are very professional, friendly and accommodating. We had pizza and sides. Prices are very reasonable considering the standard. Would recommend booking as it gets busy.

We loved this place. Quite rustic and definitely not pretentious. The gentleman that was front of house was great. He was knowledgeable and personable. The food was excellent with perfect portion size. I couldn't fault it.
