"beautiful old building. the cakes in the window pulled us in. we were squeezed and ordered. when a larger table was available, we were moved. the food was delicious (common lunch and cake). the apple cake was worth it alone."

"We stopped on a whim and ordered the roast lunch. I had the steak and ale pie and my wife had the roast beef. Both very nice and plenty of veggies with it. And the price was excellent value! Nice forecourt for sitting outside."
