Took my mum on an impromptu lunch date on a beautiful Melbourne day. Couldn't have picked a better place to spend an afternoon. From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly and welcoming. No question to big or to small and they are very informative. Space was busy but it never felt crowded (there was a 90th birthday happening).Mum and I shared the flat bread and dips, calamari, scallops, beef cheek and garlic focaccia. It was the perfect amount of food for the two of us. We finished by sharing a lemon tart and it was divine! Left with a bottle of wine we had tried at lunch and have vowed to come back.

Came with my partner for a nice romantic dinner on a Friday evening. From the outside, I admit, it looks a bit odd. But once you are inside things do a complete 180. Beautiful restaurant, amazing customer service, and all the food was wonderful. At no point did we feel like we weren't being taken care of, and the waiter was very attentive. We had the 5-course degustation package and couldn't have been happier, just wish we could fit it all in! Highly recommended for a nice romantic dinner with your better half :

Came here on the Cudo deal which is a great way to explore a different place never knew it was located here in Diggers Rest i live 15 minutes away) Staff are very friendly, happy that there was a choice of meals to choose from we didn't leave feeling hungry at all food was presented well tasted delicious, will definitely come back to try food from the main menu only negative thing to say was that we waited too long between meals which the waitress kept apologizing for)

Our journey to Russo Estate Winery in Diggers Rest couldn’t have been more perfect. We visited on a lovely October day when Melbourne was finally emerging from the dreary grip of winter. The temperatures rose beautifully into the high 20s, making our 30-minute drive to the northwest outskirts of Melbourne particularly enjoyable, with clear blue skies and the warm, dry breeze of summer. I absolutely adore this hidden gem! I don’t usually visit wineries, but I’ve been here three times in the past month. The variety of food is fantastic, and everything I've tried has been delicious! I really appreciate the overall atmosphere as well.
