Last week, my friend Chas and I met up at the Ruth's Chris location in Parsippany, New Jersey. While Chas had been to a Ruth's Chris before, it was my first time. I was cautiously optimistic about our visit. I have tried many great steaks at various steakhouses across the country, but often find that I can make a similar steak at home. I came here for my birthday, and it was OK, all the hype around this place and I didn’t get it honestly. The service was very mediocre, my server Alexa was very overwhelmed. My margarita was great, my calamari was great but my crab cake was too fishy for my liking. My dinner I had the steak and the person I was with had the salmon with shrimp which they loved. My steak was amazing very flavorful but the lobster Mac and cheese was a Noo, the Brussels sprouts was great and the grautin was great as well. The cheese cake I got for free was a no for me. My husband, brother-in-law, his wife, and I came to this restaurant for Valentine's Day weekend. The food, especially the crab cakes, was delicious, and the drinks were also quite good. We each had two drinks, three entrees, and two appetizers, and the bill came out to just under $500, which we were fine with. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would definitely come back. The only downside was the parking situation - there was no available parking anywhere, possibly due to the holiday weekend. The parking lot was packed because it is shared with the hotel, but it could have been because of the festive weekend.
I had a delicious dinner with my mother and boyfriend at this restaurant. I am giving it four stars instead of five because, as a steakhouse, they should be better at getting the temperatures of the steaks correct. My mother and I ordered our steaks medium, but they came out rare. The food runner took them back to be cooked more, but they ended up overcooked. Despite this, the staff were all professional and kind. I had a great time chatting with the bartenders, as I am one myself, and reminiscing about my father's days working at Ruth's Chris. Overall, it was a sweet visit.

Never been here before, the staff was very friendly and professional, service was spot on, restaurant was clean, easy on the eyes with the lighting, and classy. Pictured is the 11oz steaks which were delicious, the asparagus was perfect, the bread loaf crust had an excellent crackle and perfect soft interior, and the sweet potato casserole was very tasty, I would highly recommend.
This place speaks for itself. My wife and I went for our anniversary and they made it soecial with free champagne and free dessert! I got a NY strip which was so tender and cooked perfectly. My wife got a filet and lobster tail and everything was to perfection. Jane, our server was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be going back again.
Celebrated our anniversary here and the filet with lobster tail was outstanding. Still miss the shoestring fries and didn't understand the explanation of why regular fries aren't even on the menu. If you need to add a second fryer, just do it. For the prices here, how can you have the best steaks around and not offer shoestring fries??
OMG, the is absolutely the best steak I’ve ever eaten in this entire world. It melted it melted in my mouth, and I even got to meet the chef. Great staff, felt welcomed and every experience felt personal. Would 10/10 recommend again. Added a photo just to show how perfectly the steak was cook!

Great service but it's over priced with average food. Virgin blueberry mojito is flat and barely mint flavor and over sweetened from blueberry syrup. NY stip has a lot membrane and tendons. Mushroom with stuffed crabmeat and Brussel sprouts with bacon are good. Overall, I was disappointed.
The best steak salad you will ever have. We came for my father in-laws birthday and they made the experience very special. They were very attentive and had great recommendations.
