Traditional vacation dinner with my sweetie after skipping a year thanks to the pandemic. We both opted for the seasonal special menu. First courses were Caesar salad and Lobster bisque. Both were fresh and very tasty. Main courses were surf and turf oz filet mignon (both ordered medium), and lobster tail. The lobster tail was removed from the shell and nestled atop the filet, making for a lovely presentation while keeping the lobster from being overcooked by the degree plate, a Ruth’s Chris trademark. Unfortunately my wife’s filet was cooked well beyond medium, and the hot plate only made it worse. Steven, our server, did a great job correcting the kitchen’s misstep. He re-ordered the complete meal for my wife, including our sides (garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, both scrumptious). Great save Steven! My wife was very happy! We ended our meals with personal cheesecakes and fresh brewed coffee. A very good meal overall despite the hiccup on the filet. We will be back
