I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews but Unfortunately I can’t say I very much enjoyed my first and potentially last trip to Sabroso. Firstly let me say that we got the food as a takeaway. Now, I’m not a big fan of writing bad reviews. I would rather write a review praising the establishment to allow others to try as we have. However, we were mislead by the reviews and feel that maybe we caught them on a bad day. Nevertheless we had a bad experience. My partner ordered through just eat. We clearly stated no beans in my burrito, this is due to an allergy I have. The food arrived 20 minutes after the given time and as we were hungry I bit straight into my burrito. I found only then that it contained kidney beans to which I had an immediate reaction and had to use my epi-pen to stop things escalating. I then rang the restaurant to explain what had happened. I was told that I should 've checked the website for ingredients in my food and should have told them I had an allergy. The service at this restaurant is amazing and friendly. I chose to collect my food at the suggestion of the lovely manager, who said it would be quicker, but he offered to deliver it himself. The service was excellent and went above and beyond my expectations. Within 25 minutes, I received my takeaway with smiles all around. It was packaged up piping hot and they even gave me some cardboard to protect it from the heat! The restaurant's decor was gorgeous and it was the cleanest takeaway establishment I've ever visited. Ordered food through JustEat, something like 18:45 19:00, deliver expected between 19:50 20:00. Called the restaurant at 20:25 because on the website, the food was marked as 'delivered ', but still nothing arrived. The restaurant said 'we are very busy but the driver should be at yours briefly, it is 5 minutes away... '. New delivery expected by 20:35. 20:40 called again... Same story about how busy they were but the driver should arrive briefly, it is only 5 minutes away... Then a 'manager ' took the phone and at my complains he first hung up on me and, when called back he just cancelled my order!!!!!!!!

I ordered delivery from this restaurant and while it was not the best, it was edible. The nachos were completely soft, bordering on soggy, and the dipping sauce was missing from both portions of Bunuelos, so essentially I paid £12 for mini dough balls. The tater tots were also soggy. The delivery took a long time, but I didn't realize the restaurant was so far away, so that was my mistake. Overall, the food was tasty. I appreciated that the chilli beef and pulled pork were in separate containers from the tacos. It would be an improvement if the cheese sauce was also separate to improve the nachos.

Wow wow wow! The food from Sabroso is some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Great options available, great prices and most importantly, absolutely delicious food! We had a Mexican themed family buffet, exploring various mains and sides, and it totally exceeded our expectations. If you haven’t tried this gem of a restaurant/takeaway yet, then I recommend you do. If you have tried them, then you already know how good this place is.

First visit and we can’t wait to try more things on the menu. The food was amazing and staff super helpful . It was exactly what we needed something different from the usual Saturday night takeaways . The food made the night . Look forward to eating in and trying that experience. We drove to pick it up well worth it . Had to change into my Covid comfy pants I’m stuffed. There’s gonna be a fight over the leftovers.

Food is amazing, ordered online with 20% discount. Informed chef of nut allergy on order, within minutes chef rang to inform me that food will be made exactly how I asked. Brilliant customer service.

Not the nicest of areas but a decent quality burrito nonetheless. Big portions (regular was easily enough) and not dissimilar to benitos hat. They also do a mean rocky road.

I have ordered from this restaurant several times and they keep canceling my order. I find it very disappointing as all I want to do is enjoy some Mexican food.
