Very Good Hoagies. I did takeout, although there 's plenty of seating if you wanted to eat-in. I had a Roast Beef and Provolone Hoagie/Sub and it was one of the best I have ever had. Honest. The roast beef was really, really good. I might even make that my new favorite. Their Regular Hoagie/Sub is very good, too, and doesn 't have spicy meats like some shops have. If I want spice I 'll add the spice (hot peppers, etc. . The rolls are good, too. Soft, without that hard ridge. People coming down to the Shore , and/or Atlantic City, often stop by on their way back home to bring some good food to the folks North and West of here that are Good-Hoagie-deprived!
You definitely get a lot for your money at this place, but my experience was disappointing. I ordered a chicken steak, but what I received felt more like deli meat that had been heated and made into a sandwich. The meat wasn't chopped like a traditional steak; it was in large pieces that required shredding, which made it feel more like a warmed-up cold cut sandwich than a proper dish. This was not the experience I was hoping for, and if I decide to give it another chance, I might choose something else or ask them to prepare the chicken differently.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service and staff were excellent, and it really gave off a lovely hometown vibe. There was a good variety of food to choose from. I especially enjoyed the sub, although the tuna was a bit dry. It was served with a salad of tomatoes and onions, dressed with olive oil and vinegar, along with Provolone cheese and mayo on fresh bread. Overall, a satisfying meal!
Food was great.waitress needs training in serving,be more attentive to customers, this location is on White horse Pike Atlantic City New Jersey. We should have know something was not right, there were no customers dining inside for ordering food to go except for one person. Wandering the area before classes start tomorrow and swung by here for Breakfast. We've been here a few times over the year's and the food never disappoints. Staff is friendly and efficient. Kit had Half a Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese Sub. I had the same but added grilled green ? peppers, sliced lettuce, tomato, onions, hot pepper spread, mayo, vinegar and SPK. As I mentioned, it was delicious.
Huge subs for great price. The best cheesesteaks I've ever had! My family and I have been coming here for years, and this location along with the one in Ventnor are the top choices. Egg Harbor Township could really take notes from these places, as their offerings are quite disappointing in comparison!
