Saffron Indian Cuisine

I had no idea I never reviewed this place. I love them and I recommend them to every friend I meet, every person I talk to in a store, really just anyone that asks 'where should I go to eat? ' The food is always consistent delicious, the staff are the friendliest humans on earth, and I am always looking forward to my next meal here. Recently moved closer so I just ordered take out and the food held up traveled perfectly. This is the best Indian food in Connecticut. If you 're a vegetarian or vegan, this place will never disappoint. Thank you for the fabulous food!

The inviting, kind staff accommodated our family for lunch. Don't let the small space detour you from trying Vedas! We have no suggestions because everything from the appetizers to the lunch specials were beyond our expectations and delicious, noones plate was sacred at our table. You will end up sharing because it's just that good! (The restaurant sat 10 people today with ease.

They use family recipes, and make your dining experience feel more like a homestay experience/like they're hosting you in their Punjabi kitchen. We asked if they had ginger tea and our waitress offered to make us some fresh. She gave us a complimentary chickpea dish along with extra rice to-go. Big, fresh samosas too! Lovely lovely dinner here

The best Indian food in the area hands down, always delicious and fresh! The staff and especially the owner are always friendly, welcoming, and appreciative of your business. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, it doesn't get any better than Veda!

Very good, authentic, homemade Indian cuisine. The owner, Pinky, is personable and concerned that the food is made correctly and to the customer's liking . The spiciness and the flavors of the food is very good. The lunch specials and the service is very good.

You will be back. The flavor was everything you would want. It only seats 6, but most people come for the takeout. I tried 4 dishes...all out of this world. The salad was something different...mixture of corn and mint.

One of the very few Indian restaurants around that has an authentic touch to its dishes. Add to it: Well located, affordable prices, ease of ordering (good website) couldn't ask for more. Love the place.

I have been to Veda Indian Cuisine very recently and I need to mention the fact that the food was really close to what I had back in India and it just made my day with all the served delicacies.
