Whenever we’re in the area, we make sure to stop by Sahara for some authentic Mediterranean and Greek food. The owner is truly genuine and takes great pride in the quality of the dishes, which is clear in every bite. Some of our favorites include the Chicken Souvlaki, Chicken Shawarma, Baklava, and Tabouli, but we’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried from the menu. Each visit has been delightful, with fresh ingredients and prompt service making for an excellent experience overall. The new signage and decor were elegant, contributing to a wonderful atmosphere. We were welcomed by Tom, who greeted us with a friendly smile. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating to all of our specific food requests. The cuisine was absolutely delicious! The rice was flawlessly cooked, the beef was tender, and the chicken was juicy with a lovely char. The kefta was rich and fragrant—a true delight. This is the best Mediterranean food I’ve enjoyed in the Lehigh Valley!

I had a fantastic dining experience with generous portion sizes. The hummus and baba ganoush were especially noteworthy. The hummus was incredibly smooth and creamy, and the baba ganoush offered a unique flavor that set it apart from what I’ve had at other places, featuring a generous serving and delicious toppings. The food is great, and the new owner has done a fantastic job renovating the place—it looks really nice now. It's not just for takeout anymore; they offer a cozy dining experience. They still have the classic recipes from the previous owner, along with some new dishes. I recently dined there, and everything we tried was delicious. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

This was our first visit to this gem in Allentown, but it certainly won't be our last! Each dish was a masterpiece, expertly crafted by the incredibly talented owner. He personally selects only the finest ingredients, and his family are true masters in their craft. Can you believe these delicacies taste as amazing as they look? Yes, even better!

As someone from Chicago who travels across the country to try different restaurants, I have to say this place has truly impressed me. The flavors are outstanding, and the portion sizes are very generous. Plus, the cleanliness of the restaurant is top-notch. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5!

This is without a doubt the best Mediterranean restaurant in Lehigh Valley, and probably in all of Pennsylvania. The food is incredible, and the customer service is top-notch. Absolutely delicious salads, gyros, and more! The wait is definitely worth it, and the staff is very friendly. The portion sizes are generous, making it great for both takeout and dining in.

I absolutely love their Greek Salad and Fattoush. The presentation and flavor of the Hummus are exceptional as well.
