I was looking forward to Vietnamese away from my usual residence. I Purchased takeaway lemongrass chilli chicken rice and shredded pork rolls. The food was edible at a price comparative to other Vietnamese restaurants I frequent. Unfortunately the shredded pork rolls were small, but more importantly LACKED flavour, they are just vermicilli noodle shredded pork and iceberg lettuce. Where is the mint or corriander or shredded carrot? I could not taste any lemongrass in the lemongrass chicken, nor
This restaurant is a hidden gem on the Gold Coast. Despite its unassuming appearance, the dishes coming out of the kitchen are amazing. Fancy decor is not necessary when the food is this tasty. We were greeted with a warm smile by the owner, ordered from a diverse menu, and were quickly served delicious curry puffs and crispy chicken soup. I can't wait to return and try more dishes. I highly recommend this place for its affordable prices and great food.
Saigon 101 is a handy little Vietnamese cafe serving great food and comes with friendly service from the owners. Our regular favourite ! Be sure to try the Special beef noodle soup and summer rolls, delicious !
