This family run restaurant is an unassuming venue but the service is good and the food is great. Service is usually very fast. Great place to have lunch if you are in a hurry. The menu is easy to order from- just order by the number. They have a small selection of red and white wine if you so choose. Children are welcome but I do not know if there is a children's menu. My all time favourite is 65A - very different but really encourage you to try it if you like a mild curry vegetable dish. My husband likes 16A
We have visited this restaurant several times and have always had great food. Establishment is owed and staffed by Veitnamese so I suspect that the food is authentic. In any case they have a nice variety of soup of which we have had a few and all have been hot and tasty. They have no problem with special orders. Salad rolls and spring rolls are also always excellent. Green papaya salad is also a family favorite. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and has a cafeteria feel but is always clean and tidy.
Love this restaurant. Our server was great and went out of her way to try and find the hockey game on tv for my husband lol! Server took drink and food orders promptly and chit chatted with my mother. My mother joked at end of the meal that she needed another fortune and our server brought her a handful of fortune cookies, which made her day! Owner always says hello when we come in. Bring your appetite when you come. Food is fresh flavorful and prices are great.
My work colleagues and I started going to the Saigon Sun shortly after it opened and have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable, the food fresh and in copious amounts, the service is quick and efficient. We pretty much have the bun everytime, I have enjoyed it each time and its always at the top of our list of places to go when we need to get out of the office. Try the Vietnamese coffee when you go: Cafe Sua Da! nice treat.
