I was very disappointed with my visit today. I understand that the cafe has been closed for a while due to COVID, so when I saw it was open again, I was excited! After being stuck at home for so long, I used to love coming to your cafe to enjoy some time outside. However, when I arrived, I noticed the menu had been significantly reduced. There were no options for me—not even toast! Other items like curry or a tuna melt aren’t exactly ideal for breakfast. I highly recommend the bite-sized breakfast, but unfortunately, that wasn’t available. There was no one else in the cafe, it felt like a ghost town! I visited this restaurant today and was on the phone with my son, who asked me to pick up some raspberries. I looked around but couldn’t find any. After I hung up, a young gentleman named Ash approached me to ask what I was looking for. He promptly went to the storeroom to see if he could find some for me. He returned with a trolley, but unfortunately it had strawberries instead of raspberries. He was very apologetic and even expressed regret for keeping me waiting while he checked. I just want to give a huge thank you to Ash for his outstanding customer service. Well done!
It has a good selection of produce which is arranged in a sensible layout, unlike some other supermarkets.. coughs Morrisons coughs. This place even has a reasonable section for house plants as you enter which I was pleasantly surprised by. My recommendation is to use the self checkout tills which are furthest away from the entrance as they were relatively empty compared to the ones nearer to the entrance when I visited.
This is a typical large retail café, but the food and coffee are consistently good, which is a huge advantage in this setting. However, there were once again mistakes with my order; I had to return my meal, but when it arrived again, the food was of good quality. I must say, out of all the food cafés in retail stores, this one is still the best when it comes to the quality of food served.

real apathy around the place no eye contact, smile or service of any kind large gaps on shelves pricy too. wine boxes all over the floors abandoned comps just a poor experience all round staff moaning openly about their shifts and how long they are going to be stuck there
Kudos to Denise at the front door! She is an outstanding example of excellent customer care and service during these challenging times. Her cheerful smile and warm, reassuring welcome make a difference. I hope Sainsbury’s recognizes the fantastic job she is doing!
As supermarkets go and we have all been to one it's a bit above the rest some say more expensive but I believe there are some great offers on each week and it was local to where we had been with lots of parking.
The restaurant was short-staffed during my visit. The toastie was soggy, which made for an unpleasant experience overall. I won't be returning.

I always come here for breakfast because the food is consistently hot and delicious. The staff is always very friendly too.
Very bad service this weekend. 30 minutes waiting for a jacket potatoe.
