Sainsnbury's Cafe - Reserva de mesa

I went to this restaurant today with a coworker. We only had an hour for lunch, but I had been there before and didn't have to wait long for food. We ordered hot chicken and chips with tea. When I asked the waitress if the sandwich had lettuce in it due to my colleague's allergy, she looked at me strangely and replied that it didn't. She also mentioned that the sandwich came with a pot of gravy, but we never recieved it. After waiting for 30 minutes with no food in sight, I went to the counter to inquire about the delay. We were visiting Scunthorpe; I had never been here before. We started to get peckish and as it was a Sunday there were limited cafe options open, so we decided to call into Sainsburys for a quick bite to eat. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips and I had the ham eggs and chips and finished with a moist carrot cake. Excellent large portions, very reasonably priced and the whole place was clean. The service was very quick and friendly too. Recommended.

To be honest, this was the worst breakfast I have ever had. Morrison's is far superior. I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but every place where people eat should have standards. Whether it is in a supermarket or not, there are certain expectations. I do not expect burnt toast, overcooked eggs, and low-quality beans for £6.

I ordered the £4.50 breakfast, it was brought to my table well presented and nice and hot, a good plate of food which i enjoyed.I have had a better sausage though. The restaurant itself is very spacious. The negative to my visit was dirty cutlery and the miserable woman who served me, i pity the guy who married that. Reserva una mesa ahora

It's a supermarket cafe so you cannot expect fine dining. A bit like an old transport cafe but the food is hot, the drinks are hot the staff are friendly. A little expensive for what you actually get.

Cafeterias in supermarkets are typically known for being budget-friendly and straightforward, but this one puts in a lot of effort to serve quality food and present it nicely.

The Cafe is very clean and the breakfast was lovely and a good size. We didn't have to wait too long either The staff were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable

Lots of beverages to choose from. Good range of meals from sandwiches toasties to fish chips or big all day breakfast. Staff really nice helpful. Spacious airy. Reserva una mesa ahora

Fab cafe, plenty space, great staff. Never waiting long for food and at end of the day cheap, which overall gives it a very good cafe.

Vegan options are good and it's nice to have a choice. Understaffed at times and, therefore, service can be slow.
