Sakae Sushi - Reserva de mesa

I truly felt transported to Japan while dining here. The surroundings, with the trees and architecture, were distinctly Japanese. I went for the 20-piece mix that features everything on their menu. The sushi was incredibly fresh and authentic. The sushi rice was exceptional, perfectly chewy and sticky, complementing the other ingredients beautifully. I was also thrilled with my sushi box; the aesthetic packaging and vibrant color combinations of the assorted sushi were stunning. Absolutely beautiful!

This is the true definition of a hole in the wall. Literally just a window to order from, no dine in. But this place is obviously doing something right, cause they’ve been running for 60 years!! Very nice people. Their menu is simple—choose how many pieces you want and mix and match the ones you’d like. I got 10 pieces with 6 saba and 4 others just to try. Very solid meal, but a little heavy on the rice. Parking lot is huge.

My dad has been coming here since the 1970s, and he started bringing me along in 2001. The food is always fresh and delicious, and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. This sushi outshines even the most upscale restaurants that charge outrageous prices per roll. The rice is perfectly seasoned, and all the ingredients are incredibly fresh. You have to give it a try! Ewanda, Sake Sushi, Family owned, many generations and the Sushi is perfect every time I come out to California. My family has been purchasing Sushi from this establishment since I was 14 years of age. 47 years of the best made Sushi and I would never goelsewhere. One of Gardena's hidden gems everything is fresh, made to order if you are familiar with Sakai sushi you know it's best to call your order in it will save you some time also this is a CASH only establishment however there is a atm across the street in the bank or Japanese supermarketFood: 5/5

Take out sushi of the highest quality. They have been in Gardena for eons and are known for their Nori and Inari rolls. Their Saba is also REALLY good. I suggest the mixed sushi box. Really good for small gatherings or a light picnic snack. They aretakeout only! Right next to Spoon House

Always fresh and delicious! They also package everything so nicely. My personal favorite is their battera and futomaki. Be sure to place your phone order in advance because they often run out towards the end of the day.
