Disappointing...my husband and I stopped in for lunch. Not very welcoming decor, booths on one side, big counter to order and pay. Very impersonal, and the restaurant had a heavy fried oil smell combined with some kind of over powering jasmine wintergreen mint sweet smelling air deodorizer. But worse was the food.....the miso soup, very bland, thin, like dishwater with a little strip or two of seaweed, no tofu or miso flavor to speak of, served in clear plastic lidded tubs. You get your own little plastic spoons. The tempura sushi roll was ok, California roll, acceptable, both served in black clamshell plastic. Very ugly way to serve Japanese food. It was noon, the place empty. Zero ambience...
I didn't have the opportunity to try the food. I attempted to place my order three times, but the host kept interrupting me to answer the phone. They didn't seem to remember my order and were generally unfriendly, which made me feel unwelcome. When we finally completed the order, instead of processing it, the host interrupted us once more to take another call. At this point, I had tolerated enough disrespectful behavior and decided to walk away. I won't be returning.
We ordered the crazy roll and the Sakura roll. Both were decent and tasted fresh. We ordered takeout so were not concerned about the decor but the decor was lacking. I wouldn't go here for a date. It looks like a typical strip mall joint with booth seating. Having said that, I wasn't going there for a romantic dinner. I was going there for tasty food. Would return if in the area and wanted sushi but wouldn't drive an hour to get here.
I definitely had better yakisoba else where. I got the combo to try the different types of proteins. Beef was tough and chewy. Chicken was dry. Shrimp was average.Coconut shrimp was meh. Coconut sauce was meh. The texture was on the soggy side.

This is likely one of the best places to enjoy great sushi and Hitachi-style teppanyaki in Wayne County, and its convenient location in Rosewood makes it even better! We have no complaints—it's a highlight of our annual trip home.
Start off by saying that the employees were nice upon entry and she took my order fast and correctly, food was amazing as it always has been, brought it to our table too! I left a nice tip and definitely will return!

we love to come from sakura! we get hibachi steak and hibachi huh. always good and fresh. also comes with salat and ingwer dressing. not a destination restaurant for a date but great for a hungry family.

I thought the food was excellent. We arrived, placed our order, and it was prepared incredibly quickly. I will definitely return.
