Definitely would not recommend the woman I talk to on the phone was extremely rude and could not accommodate my order for my four-year-old son then when I picked up my food, the woman at the window was extremely disrespectful and my son and my whole family ended up getting severe food poisoning from the food. When I called and asked to talk to the owner she said the owner is not in and I would have to call back. I asked if I could leave a number and the woman explained that the owner never reaches out to contact any of the customers. This was very unprofessional and the food was definitely not fresh to make my four year old and in my entire family very sick.

For sushi that's located far from the ocean or a major city, it was surprisingly fresh and quite good. However, the tempura was quite greasy, and the soy sauce had an unusual taste. I've enjoyed some fantastic sushi at various places, all at a lower price point than here. Additionally, we didn't receive everything we ordered, and it was difficult to find the waitress when we needed assistance. To top it off, the bill wasn't itemized and provided very little detail.

Might cone off as hyperbolic, but this is the best hibachi steak I’ve ever had. As someone who seeks out hibachi, I would choose this as my last meal. Started off the eel roll, simply amazing. This is likely the best sushi in Hickory! My daughter ordered a hibachi dish, and the shrimp were incredibly fresh. We'll definitely be back soon! Food: 5/5
