One issue I didn’t like is that the suggested tip starts at 20% instead of the typical 15%. This definitely made me less willing to leave a generous tip. The Unagi Donburi at Sakura Japanese Steak Seafood House was quite good—it wasn’t overly oily, though I wished there was more rice. On a return visit, we tried the teppanyaki. Compared to Kobe Steakhouse, the filet mignon was a bit too chewy and not cooked to my preference. However, the scallops were delicious, and the yakisoba was enjoyable as well. Overall, the menu at Sakura offered a decent dining experience.

We had the pleasure of visiting Sakura for the first time tonight and could not be more impressed. We made reservations ahead of time and had zero wait and were impressed by the friendly service and exciting hibachi show. Highly recommend the filet and scallops and the spicy tuna hand roll. Everything we had was great and will for sure be returning.
Pros: Great atmosphere with beautiful architecture. The food is fantastic, and the chef wears a cool hat and tells funny jokes. The sushi is delicious, and the teriyaki is excellent. Went there with my boyfriend and really enjoyed it. Cons: It can get quite busy, and some tables may be overlooked. Overall: I would definitely visit again!
For a steakhouse, the sushi here was exceptional, and the service matched that quality. The staff were welcoming and friendly. If you're craving a martini, I highly suggest ordering the Gerry!
