Monday was a beautiful day in Chicago, and gave me an opportunity to play golf at the Buffalo Grove Golf Course. The highlight of my day however, was not my game, but the opportunity to once again sample the amazing pizza at Sal and Tony's, the restaurant at the golf course.Without a doubt, their tavern style thin crust, pepperoni and sausage was as good or better than ANY thin crust pizza I have had in recent years in the Chicago area. It was perfect. Ample crisply roasted pepperoni on top; delicious, fennel forward sausage peeking out from under the optimal amount of hot tasty cheese. How very disappointing. We went here for date night as we have always enjoyed it. Tonight was a different story. Ordered Carbonara with shrimp added and extra peas on the side. Not a big deal, wrong salad dressing came with the side salad. But then the Shrimp didn't come on the pasta. Got the shrimp and they were partially raw. Told Manager about it and she took $10 off the bill. Shrimp Add on was $7, extra peas $2.00. Didn't get the meal my husband wanted and still ended up paying $29.00 for 1 entree and that was not including the tip.

Cannot say enough about this place. Food is so delicious. Fabulous chef. Daily specials are unique and delicious. Portions generous. Salad and soups really good. Been coming here for years. My favs are chicken limone and chicken parm. But there is something for everyone. Many Italian seafood choices. As well as Italian style pork chops and etc. Again, don’t miss out on this gem.

Took my child to meet with an old best friend and she had a great time speaking to everyone they love kids here coloring on the table paper it was great.Kid-friendliness: The kids can color on the tables the food is excellent for kids from chicken strips to pizza. Great place love em

The food and service here are absolutely incredible. 5 stars. They never disappoint.
