Today was a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We encountered issues such as a lack of water and functioning toilets, as well as the unavailability of the popular fish and chips dish. To add to our confusion, my mother received steak with chips instead of what she had ordered. My aunt ordered the fish of the day, which came served on a bed of curry rice with snow peas. I went to Saturday lunch at the bistro with my brother, mum and uncle last week. We opted for the $12 lunch menu and my mum and uncle ordered Chicken Parmagana. They got hearty serves, lovely crispy chicken and chips and a light, fresh salad with a delicious dressing. Both very pleased. As a vegetarian, I had very few options. Nothing on the $12 menu or the Chef's Suggestions board. There was plain pizza on the dinner menu I could have ordered, but I settled for chips and salad and found both to be fabulous. Called in for lunch with my wife & daughter at the bistro.Received a friendly welcome, seated and given menus.Chose 2 lunch specials with 300gm rump steak with sauce, chips and garden fresh salad including a schooner of beer or glass of wine for $15 each and daughter chose seafood basket for $14.95.The steak was cooked to perfection, it was tender and so juicy with a delicious sauces (mushroom & dianne). Seafood basket was plentiful with a good assortment.This was our first visit, will definitely return.Highly recommended.
We visited the Salisbury Hotel on Father's Day for lunch, and certainly didn't leave disappointed. Although I only rang in the morning for a booking, they were accommodating and advised us to come before 12 noon so that we wouldn't be caught up in a long queue to order. The food was fantastic, and none of us went away hungry or dissatisfied. Great staff - eager to assist and serve, and all very pleasant and friendly. We live in the suburb, but for some reason haven't gone there often. I think we'll have to rectify that!

My husband and I were not sure what to have for lunch while we pass by. We saw $15 steak lunch poster so we chance mind from burger to steak. We both are happy for what we get. They offers different special daily. There are many family in the restaurant at same time as they also offers $3 for children meal. The seating are comfortable. The service is very good. We definitely will go back again.
I attended a function at this hotel with around 80 attendees.I actually lived in this area over 20 years ago and havent been here since then. There are a few changes with a gaming room new.I ordered the 300g rump with chips and vegetables and pepper sauce. Typical pub meal - nothing special but no bad either.I stayed the night at the motel as I was visiting from Melbourne.
love coming here for a beer with the lads on a Sunday arvo. Live music, cheap beers and a awesome terrace to sink some ales. Havent stayed in the hotel but it looks like a typical budget hotel, nothing flash but if you need a cheap place to stay it does the trick. its about 20/30 mins from the city so I would stay here unless you need to be in this area.
Sunday night specials here are cheap and very nice, a good sized steak, choose your sauce, nice salad, chips and a free very nice glass of wine or a beer. Can't go past this, not full of yobbos, it has family groups and couples. Many other specials available, including kids eat free, great deal!!

Every meal I have had here has been cooked perfectly and tastes great. Especially will the hot DEVIL sauce. The wait time can be a little long but the meals are good.
Stoped for lunch meals took a bit longer to check me than you would expect steak was good however the Japanese chicken curry was deep fried and not pleasant
