This is such a fun little place. The owners are SUPER nice and you can just tell they're happy to have people in their restaurant. It's lots of locals, we were the only Americans in there and it was awesome. The food was superb, great people watching, and everyone coming into the place all knew each other, it was fun to see. It's like Cheers, but with Italian photos and cars and all kinds of cool stuff on the walls. It's a great place to just chill for a minute after walking and to practice your French. Food is great, service is excellent, and it's very affordable. Super nice owners and people hanging out here. Also it's close to the waterfront and lots of good shopping.
My favourite coffee shop in Nice. We first came here 17 yrs ago, stopping because it was full of locals and bus drivers, always a good sign. Today its still full of locals and bus drivers and I swear to god the owners recognised us despite the fact we only come to Nice once a year and havn't been for 3 years due to the pandemic. If you want to be like a local, this is the place to be, whether your waiting for a bus out of the city or just arrived back from a day out. (Its very close to the Monaco/Menton bus as well as others and also adjacent to the terminus stop when coming back) Super friendly and super genuinly local.
