Went for Mother’s Day. We picked here because they had pizza for the kids. Didn’t tell us until we ordered that they weren’t making any pizza. I understand that on a busy day but if they had mentioned it when we made reservations or when we got there, we would have gone elsewhere. We already had drinks and ordered appetizers by then. The bread was good. The mozzarella sticks were good. I had chicken piccata daughter had chicken Marsala. The pasta sauces were good but the chicken on both was rubbery tough. My family and I had Father’s Day dinner here. The staff is incredibly friendly. Sal, the owner and chef, personally introduced himself and greeted us, adding a personal touch that truly set this restaurant apart. You can tell that he genuinely cares for both his restaurant and customers. The food is spectacular. Everything is homemade with generous portions, and every dish we tried was delicious. My whole family couldn’t stop raving about the quality and taste. This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area. I highly recommend it and give it a 10/10. We will definitely be back!
Best steak and cheese sub I have had in a very long time! The owner is very friendly and makes his own dough and bread and it is absolutely amazing. Pizza is top quality and ingredients are fresh and it's right off the interstate 81 which makes it really convenient. Plenty of parking on the street or in the parking lot across the street. It's also handicap accessible
We are visiting Edinburg, and Sal's was the perfect choice for dinner. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. Tracy, our waitress, was kind, courteous, and attentive, and I want to give a shoutout to the kitchen for the beautiful presentation of the meal. It was delicious, and I highly recommend it if you're in Edinburg!

I've been to this establishment before. It's in a small town, so best to have reservations. However, on my second visit recently we got sat down almost immediately but waited 30 minutes and still didn't even have a glass of water on the table. My date and I decided to leave and went to another restaurant in order to eat.
We stayed at Creekside Campground a week ago and walked to Sal’s for dinner. We did make a reservation. Edinburg is lucky to have this place. Atmosphere, service and the food were all excellent. Both seafood dinners were fantastic and the best rolls I swear I have ever had! Will definitely stop in again.
Loved everything. Excellent! Fried oysters, blue cheese house salad, garlic bread, pomodoro spaghetti, expresso, baked chicken wings, Neopolitan ice cream, sat next to little bar, the butter for the baked bread is delicious too!
The food and atmosphere were outstanding. However, the service was slow despite the lack of many customers. Overall, it's a good Italian restaurant. Note that parking is limited to street parking only.
