Went here today for a Chicago Bears watch party. When we first got there it was kind of empty. Seemed like it had some very regular regulars, which is good for a local pub!! Young lady named Nikki was behind the bar, but also came out and took care of us to get us started. She was very nice.She passed us off to Jess... also very nice!! We started with some appetizers which were pretty good. After a handful of beers, we ordered a pizza... was ok. Tasted like it was pre cut bagged cheese, that was almost chewy ?All in all was a nice place. If they were doing an event like this in the future I'd be up to make the 35 min drive again.
I can no longer depend on the quality of this restaurant. It used to be my go-to place for a great burger and was my favorite spot. Today, I ordered my usual takeout, but how can you mess up a simple cheeseburger and fries? When I got home, I found that the burger was so undercooked that it was still ice cold inside. I called to complain and asked them to inform the cook. Serving me an uncooked burger was just careless and lazy. I had to throw it in the trash. I might consider ordering again, but I'm hesitant due to the obvious lack of attention to health standards.
The manager was quite unhelpful during my experience. I ordered a pizza for delivery, but it never arrived. When I reached out to the manager, they insisted that they had followed all the correct procedures and claimed that the pizza had been made and picked up. They stated it was not their concern that I hadn’t received it and couldn’t offer any suggestions on who I might contact to trace my pizza. In the end, they ended the call by saying they were doing so well that they didn't need my business.
Very rude people working at the bar. No hi, how are you? Is there anything I can help you with? Just stares and eye rolling. I am a traveling nurse from out of town and I did not expect to be stared at when I walked in or be talked to rudely. I knew when I walked in being the color I am and had everyone staring at me that I would not have a good experience and I ended up having to leave. I wouldn 't recommend this place to anyone especially people who look different .

Be aware that if you don't fit their criteria after 9 PM, you won't be permitted entry. This happened to my husband and kids last night when they simply wanted to grab a bite to eat after spending time with friends. While the friends were allowed in, my husband and kids were turned away! It was a disappointing experience for my teenagers, who are now furious about how they and their dad were treated!
SOLID bar pizza! Great Football Sunday Funday spot sound on)! 2 of us enjoyed a $12 mix n match domestic buckets with a Large Thin WELL DONE pizza. Their sausage was great I have high standards). Crust was legit cracker crust tasted just like those Carr's crackers. That was a first! Very good.
The food was fantastic, and the hospitality was even better. I used to visit this restaurant frequently about 12 to 15 years ago. Recently, I was in the area and decided to drop by. To my delight, I found that the same staff was still working, and the food quality has remained excellent.
I've been there before with my family. It seemed a bit more focused on the local crowd than I remembered. Overall, it ended on a positive note.
