I was recommended this place by a friend while visiting from out of town. I rarely have at at BBQ spots because I?m a pescatarian and they almost never have seafood options. Salt and Smoke did not disappoint with their smoked salmon. I got the smoked salmon sandwich with Mac and cheese. I also got a small kale salad with smoked salmon added. The portions are large. It was an insane value for the cost. Service was also phenomenal. I came solo on my way to the airport with very little time to space. If you're ever on St Charles main street and want to eat outside on a patio, this is your place. Ample shade down in the bottom part of the patio, very friendly customer service from the waiters and hostess/host. Great atmosphere except for the amount of flies and bees if you sit by the plants. Food is delicious. I got the chicken sandwich and chili and would recommend both. The toasted ravioli appetizer is amazing! Never heard any complaints about the brisket sandwich or the macaroni and cheese side dish, either.I will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to experience Missouri BBQ! We do things a little different over in Oklahoma, so I can't say I touched any of the sauces, but they looked well liked by others who prefer it! I only removed a star because the brisket was very, very dry but the ribs and everything else on my plate was cleaned off. The Mac Cheese breading was incredible, the pullover unique, and my friend loved the chicken wings she ordered. Highly recommend with the suggestion of trying a different meat!

Located in a beautiful town. Food was well presented. Chicken and Brisket we very moist. Ribs were a bit dry. I had the creamed corn and potato salad as sides. Loved the popover!! While I was disappointed that the check was brought to me without inquiring if I wanted dessert, I am happy to have explored a little and located the Riverside Sweet shop a chocolate lover's dream location.

Was a nice little BBQ, with a big selection of Bourbon. Was looking to indulge in some ribs and they did not disappoint. They also had a Walnut old fashion that was amazing.
