The food is good!!!! The fried pickles came off in one piece when I took a bite…the whole pickle. There was too much breading. There were passive aggressive signs EVERYWHERE! One said “if you wanna talk about politics, go to a bar Thanks, Woody” woody had obviously never been to a bar! And the sign that said if you don’t like the music here, don’t sit here! Thanks, Woody There were too many passive aggressive things! Another was “Jesus knows if you are tipping” at the register. All they do is take your order and walk to you and expect you to put your garbage away. Why am I tipping? Needlessly to say I will never go here again. I like to bring my husband to new places, but this was below par...

I recently visited Woody's for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with the food. I decided to try the pulled chicken sandwich with a side of fries, which were perfectly crispy and seasoned with a unique flavor. The portion of fries was generous, and I had to share with others because I couldn't finish them all. My only complaint is that I am moving to Warrenton, Mo., so it looks like I will have to make the 35-mile drive to Woody's at least once a month to satisfy my cravings.

My husband and I ordered Pork Steak with Okra and slaw and a pulled pork platter with slaw and fried pickles for take out. The food was so good, hot when we got home with it and ordering/pick up was a breeze. Definitely a place that sells out of popular food items, next time we’ll order earlier to try out the Hog Balls, they gotta be good to sell out by 4pm! The pork steak was huge, for sure a shareable portion. The pulled pork was the perfect amount.

The BBQ and sides at this restaurant are fantastic. If you enjoy barbecue, this is definitely a place you should try. I can't get enough of the Hog Balls - they are now my favorite dish!
