Salt Spring Coffee Ganges Cafe Kitchen

I've been ordering coffee from this company for several years now, and I can't imagine life without it. My husband and I are both fans of the Med Roast Peru. We purchase it in whole bean form and grind it for our French press, and it's absolutely delightful. It has a fruity flavor with a delightful acidity that doesn’t come off as overly bitter. I've learned to add a pinch of salt to the grinds to counter the bitterness, and I truly believe it enhances the flavor! I have a subscription through their website and receive several 2-pound bags every six months to minimize shipping and ensure we always have coffee on hand. The space is nice and open, it had a pleasant atmosphere. My partner said his latte and power ball were great, the egg bite was not bad. My smoothie was tasty and the oat cookie was delicious also. Only took a star off because when we were ordering, the cashier would suddenly turn her head in the other direction and just stare or mumble something and then turn back to us looking almost dazed and didnt really address it either. I don't know if she was talking to a coworker or what. There wasn't any commotion going on so not sure what else had her attention. It was just bizarre and awkward for us as we stood there waiting for her to turn back to us to finish our order.

I absolutely love the atmosphere here! Breakfast options are quite limited on Salt Spring, so I really appreciate that this place opens early for convenience. I'm not typically a coffee drinker, but the coffee here is among the best I've ever had. The venue is modern and cozy, and it seems like many locals frequent this spot. I also admire the unique designs of the decor and items around the place. The staff is very friendly too!

This café is super trendy, clean and just a really beautiful open space. They have bathrooms available and free Wi-Fi! Their dairy free options are oat milk and coconut milk; coffee was super creamy and delicious! They also have outdoor seating and lots of parking outside however on the weekend it gets really busy! What a great place to enjoy a coffee, a meal, or a snack. Great location. Great staff. Delicious food. Amazing atmosphere. Vegan or not, they have amazing food for your taste buds. Coffee, wow. Delightful. Looking forward to our next visit to Salt Spring Island!!

Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had! The Eggs Benedict were perfect, and the smoothie and iced coffee were excellent as well. I highly recommend this place! The service was great, and the chef is incredible!
