I’ve ordered from here at least a dozen times and have recommended it to guests at my job numerous times. The food is pretty good. However, I always ordered from DoorDash. An employee from Salvatore’s came in to my job to drop of menus TODAY so we decided to order direct from them and skip all the fees door dash drama. After today I will no longer be eating there. The menus they are still currently handing out are not updated. I placed an order over the phone and asked for the price and she couldn’t give it to me. Really wanted to like this place to support local but the food was borderline inedible. Ordered wings and what they served me were the worst I've ever had. 6 tiny wings, no meat, all breading and the bones were disintegrated shards. Truly gross. The pizza was an undercooked mess of cheese on a cardboard crust. Fried ravioli weren't bad but were overcooked. The dipping marinara sauce was about the only decent item in this expensive disappointment of a meal. When I asked the hostess about the sign explaining a 4% upcharge when not paying cash, she had no idea about it. Sal's is right around the corner from us and we've been eating there for over 10 years. They are a great, neighborhood pizzeria and Sal and his family are the best. The staff there make you feel right at home. Now the food, I've had a lot of strombolis over the years, and they have literally the BEST steak stromboli I've ever had, hands down. The pizza, sandwiches, arancini balls, and everything else we've ever had there are just as good. Never had a bad meal. If you are looking for great food and a friendly, neighborhood place to eat, you have to stop by, or give them a call and have it delivered. Either way you won't be disappointed.

Took advantage of the Tuesday pizza deal for $8.95 for a large cheese. You can't mess up a cheese pizza , right? Well this was my 1st and last time. The pizza dough was dry and hard in spots but soft in others. It was not seasoned with anything and powdery. The cheese looked like it didn't finish melting. The sauce was ok. I gave this 2 stars for the sauce......oh and when my fiance picked up, the 1st thing he told me on the phone wasn't that the pizza looked ok, it was that the restuarant smelled of toilet water. Stingy with their portions. I got their rice balls appetizer, the picture shows it’s two rice balls with marinara sauce. It was only one and you had to pay extra for a 2ounce small side of sauce I also got their white pizza with broccoli and there was only a few tiny drops of ricotta cheese. Just be aware the pictures don’t look remotely like what you’ll get

We currently live in NC but were born/raised on LI NY). We can't seem to find the wonderful Italian food that we enjoyed on LI in Charlotte, NC). Our sister lives in PA; so every time that we come to visit, we stop at Salvatore's Trattoria and Pizzeria. This warms our hearts . We are always pleased with the food and service!

The food and service were absolutely impeccable. The Stromboli's we got were cooked to perfection, and huge!! I only wish we lived closer to get this food all the time. Our waitress also was the absolute best waitress we have ever had. She was attentive, and super sweet. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!

We had a pizza party at Salvatore's for our son's little league baseball team and their team made it as easy as possible. They accommodated our group with smiles on their faces and wonderful food. We get takeout often from here (and always love it), but the experience today made us love them even more. Thanks Nadia crew! Reserva una mesa ahora

This place was great for our post-tournament team dinner. The outdoor patio space was perfect for 30 people or more. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. The prices are reasonable and the food is great, especially the desserts. Note that's its BYO if you want alcohol.

Service was very friendly. The food was good. I think they specialize more in pizza than cheese steaks but it was all a good value.
